Terms, Privacy & Disclaimer

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). You may not use the Service if you are located in, or a resident of, a country or region where it is prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any rules on digital assets and online games.

2. Accounts and security

You sign in to the waitlist with your X account and to the game with your own self-custody crypto wallet. You are responsible for everything done through your accounts and for keeping your wallet, devices and credentials secure. We will never ask for your seed phrase, private key or passwords. Anyone who does is not us. One person may use one game account; we may limit the number of wallets per device.

3. Game content is licensed, not sold

Items, chests, pets, levels, Bone, $LM and other in-game resources ("Game Content") are a limited, personal, revocable licence to use within the game. Unless something is actually issued to your wallet on a blockchain, Game Content exists only in our game records and you do not own it. Game Content has no guaranteed value and cannot be redeemed for money from us. We may change, rebalance, reset, limit or remove Game Content and game features at any time, including all progress made during tests or before launch.

4. Purchases

• Prices. Chests may be bought with in-game $LM at a price shown in US dollars and converted at the rate displayed in the game. Some items (such as the Mythic Weapon Chest) may be bought with ETH on-chain.
• ETH payments are sent from your own wallet to our treasury address. The item is delivered after the transaction is confirmed on-chain and matches the quote shown to you (amount, sender, time window). Network fees are paid by you and are not refundable.
• Random rewards. Chest contents are random. Opening a chest is final.
• All sales are final, except where a refund is required by law or where we fail to deliver a correctly paid purchase; contact us with the transaction hash in that case.

5. Marketplace between players

Players may list and buy items from each other in $LM. We are not a party to these trades and do not guarantee any price. Listing and buying fees are shown before you confirm; listing fees are not returned if you cancel a listing. We may remove listings or reverse trades that involve cheating, bugs or abuse.

6. Waitlist, Starter Pack and referrals

• The waitlist reward is one Starter Pack per real person, per X account and per wallet. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and its contents may change before launch.
• Waitlist quests must be completed honestly: your own posts, real friends tagged, your own card shared. Fake, bought, automated or deleted engagement may disqualify you.
• Referral rewards are an in-game feature paid in Game Content. Rates and rules may change. Self-referrals, circular referrals and referrals from the same device or network do not count.

7. Fair play

Do not use bots, scripts, macros, exploits, modified clients, multiple accounts or anything else that gives an unfair advantage, harms the Service or other players, or automates gameplay. Do not attack, overload or reverse engineer the Service. If you find a bug, report it instead of using it. We may warn, suspend or ban accounts, remove Game Content and reverse the results of such activity.

8. Your content

When you share posts, names or images about LootMarch (for example your waitlist card), you confirm you have the right to do so. You allow us to show your public X username, display name and avatar inside the Service (for example on your waitlist card and in leaderboards).

9. Intellectual property

The LootMarch name, logo, game, art, music and code belong to LootMarch or its licensors. You may share screenshots and videos of the game for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its assets.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on services we do not control, including X, wallet software, blockchain networks, and our hosting and network security providers. Their own terms apply. We are not responsible for their availability, fees, security or actions. Blockchain transactions are public and cannot be reversed; check every transaction before you sign it.

11. Availability and changes

The Service is in development. It may be interrupted, changed, reset or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date shows the current version, and continuing to use the Service means you accept the update.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, and remove related Game Content, if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and its players.

13. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or that data will not be lost.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LootMarch and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of funds, digital assets, Game Content, data, profits or opportunities, arising from or related to the Service, third-party services or blockchain networks. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover losses and claims against LootMarch caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice, Cookie Notice and Risk Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.

This notice explains what personal data the Service processes, why, and your choices. We aim to collect only what the waitlist and the game need.

What we collect

• Public X profile when you connect X: account ID, username, display name, avatar, follower / following / post / list counts, account creation date, verified status, and the bio, location and website shown on your profile.
• Waitlist activity: quest steps and when you completed them, the post links you submit and their public content (to check the quest), your referral code, who invited you and who you invited.
• Game data: your wallet address, character, progress, inventory, purchases, trades and in-game transaction history, and on-chain transaction hashes for ETH purchases.
• Technical and security data: IP address, approximate country derived from it, browser type (user agent), a device identifier cookie, connection attempts and timestamps.

What we do not collect

Passwords, direct messages, your contacts, private keys or seed phrases. The X connection is read-only: we cannot post, like, follow or message on your behalf.

Why we use it (and legal basis)

• To provide the waitlist and the game you asked for (performance of our agreement with you).
• To deliver rewards, referrals and purchases, and to keep records of them (agreement; legal obligations).
• To keep the game fair and secure: detecting bots, multiple accounts, fraud and abuse (our legitimate interest).
• To answer support and data requests, and to comply with law.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who processes it

Our hosting provider (servers in the Netherlands, EU), our network security and content delivery provider (Cloudflare), and X when you sign in with it. Some of these providers may process data outside your country; they are bound by their own data protection terms. Public blockchain data (wallet addresses, transactions) is visible to everyone. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect players and the Service.

How long we keep it

We keep data while your waitlist entry or game account exists and as long as needed for fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations. Reward, purchase and quest records are kept as a permanent audit log so they stay verifiable. Backups are rotated (hourly server backups kept for 2 days, daily copies kept for 30 days).

Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), servers accept connections only through our security provider, administrator access is restricted, and backups are integrity-checked. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your own wallet and accounts.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, contact us (see below). We may keep data we must keep by law or for fraud prevention, and data written to a public blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has used it, contact us and we will remove their data.

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Service. There are no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies.

The game also stores settings (such as sound) in your browser's local storage. Blocking these cookies will stop sign-in from working.

Independent project. LootMarch is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any blockchain network, exchange or other company whose services it uses; all trademarks belong to their owners.

Not financial advice. Nothing on this website, in the game, in our videos or on our social channels is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. LootMarch is a game, not an investment. We make no promise of profit, income or rewards of any kind, and past results of any player say nothing about the future.

No investment contract. Playing, buying chests, trading items or holding $LM does not give you any share, profit right, governance right or claim against LootMarch.

Digital assets are risky. Any token or digital asset can lose some or all of its value. Prices can be volatile, there may be no market or liquidity at all, and smart contracts and networks can fail or be attacked. Only use what you can afford to lose, and do your own research.

Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

Early access. The game is in development. Features, balances, prices, rewards and progress may change or be reset.
